The Watch Group®

A family business,
in a trade built
on trust.

The story

The Watch Group was founded by Sonny Spriggs, who grew up immersed in fine watchmaking through his father — a lifelong collector of luxury timepieces. Between them, father and son bring over twenty years of combined experience sourcing, trading and curating some of the world's most sought-after watches.

The Spriggs family is no stranger to luxury. As the family office behind LUSSO, they have spent years building a reputation for discretion, expertise and an unmatched network within the watch world, with a presence spanning the UK and Dubai. The Watch Group was born from that same foundation — a genuine passion for horology, paired with the connections to source pieces that rarely reach the open market.

That network runs deep. We work alongside some of the biggest dealers, private collectors and auction houses in the world — relationships built over two decades in the trade. Where other dealers work from stock lists, we track down limited editions, discontinued references and watches with real provenance, often before they are publicly listed.

It is that combination — family trust, hands-on collecting experience and a genuinely global network — that makes The Watch Group less a marketplace and more a team that lives and breathes fine watches.

Common questions

Straight
answers.

Every piece is inspected in-house: movement inspection, timing on a Witschi, case and bracelet assessment under magnification, and verification of the reference, serial and papers against the manufacturer's records. Anything that can't be verified doesn't get sold.

Common references are usually days. Rare, discontinued or full-set pieces are typically two to six weeks — we'll tell you honestly which one you're dealing with at the first conversation.

Once a price is agreed, payment is made the same day by bank transfer, cash or cryptocurrency. Nothing is held back pending resale.

Yes. Papers affect value, not eligibility. We'll explain exactly what the difference is worth on your reference.

Frequently. Tell us what you're holding and what you're after and we'll structure the difference.
