The Watch Group ("we", "us") is a luxury watch dealer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what personal information we collect through thewatchgroup.ae, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you enquire about a piece, ask us to source or value a watch, contact us, or join our mailing list, we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, phone number, the watch you are asking about, and anything you write in a message. Photographs you send us of a watch are held for the purpose of that enquiry.

Information collected automatically. Our site is hosted on Shopify. Shopify and our analytics tools record standard technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of your visit — using cookies and similar technologies. How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and, where you ask us to, source, value or sell a watch on your behalf.
• To carry out identity and anti-money-laundering checks where the law or our payment partners require them for a transaction.
• To send you new arrivals and news if you have joined our mailing list. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations in the UAE.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business — Shopify (hosting and forms), our email provider, secure delivery and insurance partners for a shipment you have agreed to, and professional advisers — and with authorities where the law requires it. Each provider is bound to use your data only for the service they provide to us.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Records of completed transactions are kept for the period required by UAE commercial and tax law. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we no longer need it. You may withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@thewatchgroup.ae.

International transfers

Our hosting and email providers may process data outside the UAE, including in the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States. Where they do, they apply safeguards recognised under the applicable data-protection law.
