Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of thewatchgroup.ae and to enquiries and transactions made through it with The Watch Group ("we", "us"), a luxury watch dealer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The site

The site is a showcase and enquiry service. Nothing on it is an offer to sell. A listing shows a piece we hold or can source; availability changes without notice and every sale is confirmed only by written agreement between you and us.

Prices and payment

Prices are quoted on request and are valid for the period stated in the quote. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due in full before a watch is released or shipped. We accept bank transfer, cash (subject to UAE limits and identity checks) and, by arrangement, cryptocurrency. Where the law or our partners require it, we will ask for identification and proof of funds before completing a transaction.

Authenticity and condition

Every watch we sell is inspected and authenticated in-house before it is offered. Descriptions are given in good faith; we describe condition honestly and will tell you about any service history, replaced parts or cosmetic wear we are aware of. The brands named on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners. We are an independent dealer and are not affiliated with or authorised by any manufacturer unless expressly stated.

Selling a watch to us

Any valuation we give before seeing a watch is an estimate. Our offer is confirmed after physical inspection. By offering a watch for sale you confirm that you own it outright and are entitled to sell it. Once a price is agreed and the watch is in our possession, payment is made the same day.

Delivery and risk

Watches are delivered insured, by a specialist courier, or handed over in person in Dubai by appointment. Risk in the watch passes to you on delivery or hand-over. Import duties and taxes in the destination country are your responsibility unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Returns

Because every piece is inspected with you or described to you in detail before sale, sales are final unless we have agreed a return period in writing. If a watch is materially not as described, contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we will put it right.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability in connection with a transaction is limited to the price paid for the watch concerned. We are not liable for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

All photography, text and design on this site belongs to The Watch Group or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.
